February 8, 2018 - Really enjoyed this with Chicken Cordon Bleu and rice. A really attractive easy drinking Cab at less than $10 USD!

October 31, 2017 - Consistent with the last bottles (gotta love the screwcap). Ripe and tasty. Again, the un-integrated tart acidity throws this a bit out of balance.

September 25, 2017 - Some good things going on here. It's fairly ripe, but not plummy, and retains just a hint of Cab's herbal side. The acidity is still sticking out, very tart, and just not very harmonious. Overall, the wine doesn't seem very integrated, but what can you expect from a sub $20 Cab?

September 4, 2017 - I continue to be impressed with this wine from a QPR perspective. Not spoofed but good depth, a little herbal Cab character, a bit savory, tart acidity. Not completely harmonious and in balance, but generally good overall. Ben Glaetzer is listed on the bottle as the winemaker.

August 18, 2017 - Screwcap. Lots of fruit, but not at all over the top. A little vanilla but not overpowering and no woody notes. Acidity not really integrated. Plenty of varietally correct Cab, with a hint of herbal that I found appealing. A bit muddled and imprecise, but not a bad drink at all, especially for $10.

July 24, 2017 - Easily surpassed my low expectations. This is on the riper side of the spectrum, but not jammy or pruney. There's no new oak evident, no woody notes, which I appreciate greatly. This shows good Cab character with a hint of its herbal quality that kept my interest. There's a streak of tart acidity that sticks out a little bit at first and isn't really integrated and just has an "added acidity" feel about it, though that's just a guess on my part. But overall, this has a savory character with surprisingly good depth which I really liked and find it an absolute bargain at $10. Maybe the best $10 red I've ever had.

January 22, 2017 - Erarxis Portfolio Tasting (Enarxis HQ): High intensity in the nose, green bell pepper, red fruit, nice oak, attractive nose, palate seems thinner, red fruit, med acidity, mint, eucalyptus, green bell pepper, round, easy, straightforward, a few chocolate notes, med finish. Could work by the glass

September 20, 2016 - This is a nice cab showing notes of cranberry, red currany, eucalyptus, and herbs. The nose and flavors match. Fruity but not jammy with light-medium acidity and tannins. Drink through 2020.
