October 6, 2019 - It smells like blackberry, eucalyptus, black currant (cassis) and rose. The body is full. The wine finishes long. It tastes like cherry, blackberry, medium toast, chocolate and black currant (cassis). The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are fast. The wine has round texture.

November 20, 2018 - Huge. Blood-red and purple color. Reserved nose, but we didn’t decant. Intense mouthful of fruit (blue and blackberry) and vanilla and (too much?) oak. Fine grain tannins, not perfectly integrated, distinguish this from the estate cab. Delish with a big warm bowl of chili, manchego cheese and cornbread.

May 7, 2017 - The first taste threw me back - what is that? Coconut? WTF? The wine has good acidity matched with solid tannins and lots of blue/black fruit, but that coconut flavor is unique but both disconcerting and unpleasant.

March 26, 2017 - Quite nice, even on day 2. Smooth but well structured. Earth and black fruit with a long finish.
