March 1, 2024 - I think this is an outstanding Syrah. It’s a beautiful wine. I was expecting overpowering and over funky but I got this complex assortment of tastes all of which came together and finished. Saline, minerality, chalk, bacon fat (just a little), with some lingering fruit. The balance is just right. Well done Christophe!

November 23, 2023 - From magnum, decanted 2 hours. Amazing wine, very full of life and just singing right now. Black fruit mixed with Rocks Funk, iodine, grilled meat, mineral, and tobacco. Probably my wine of the night, shared by many in attendance. Drink now - 2031.

July 19, 2023 - We took this bottle, purchased some 10 years ago, into Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen in WW last night. It opened with the usual funk which eventually subsided. After 60-90 minutes of air it was a total pleasure. A nice pairing with a couple of the lamb oriented dishes. A fun wine that still tasted quite young and could likely benefit from several more years

March 19, 2023 - Decanted for 4 hours this time and it still seemed like the last glass was the best! LOL Amazing wine and not even close to being over the hill. Last of 3 so now on to the '12's!

January 9, 2023 - tasted as it opened, barnyard funk and felt light but as it opened and with A great steak it really felt rich and full.
