Community Tasting Notes 10

June 13, 2020 - Slowly beginning to "morgonner" or, in English, develop into mature burgundy. Not a wine of great proportions, more of an understated expression, but what a pleasant wine to drink. Can surely be kept and followed for several years more.

March 24, 2020 - Delicious and savory. Hard to believe that this undiluted wine, 6+ years old tastes so fresh. Bright fruits on the nose and palate with medium tannins. Drank alongside a pot roast night 1 and Indian food night 2.

December 31, 2019 - Thought this particular wine would live longer. Drinking it last night, the second to last day of 2019, it was flat and without much flavor or aroma, or "tired" as my wife said. Waited too long. So no further comments necessary. Instead we opened the same from 2016 and it was much better.

December 23, 2018 - Clean and precise, with developing aromas such as red cherries, pen ink, red apples, nutmeg, a hint of undergrowth, and distinct sensations of wet granite. Light in body with abundant bright flavours, perky acidity, featherlight brown-spice tannins, lowish alcohol, and a lingering mineral finish. Still youthful for a five-year old 'vin nature', it should keep for several years and bears promises of more to come in the future.

August 8, 2018 - Some development now, although not mature by far. Cherries, sous-bois, stemmy perfumes, and granite dust. Gives a fuller and denser impression than a year ago, seems like a promising curve ahead. Will keep on keepin' on, for sure.
