February 15, 2020 - Been open about 45 mins, and has a nice cool temp on it. This is in the Matthiasson style, reserved and medium weighted. Smells flinty and scented by a crushed rock kind of note and white flower blossom. The palate is a leaner, more chiseled style, showing apple, kiwi, lemon and a crisp finish. There is a good hit of acid in the wine, and along with the lighter weight, this is delicious and refreshing.

December 1, 2017 - Light golden brown color. Crisp nose of lemon and pear. Honeysuckle, lemongrass, green apple, and just a touch of oak on the palate. Medium finish. My favorite "go-to" Chard!

April 30, 2017 - Nice golden apple hew leads to a toned down citrus nose. Honeysuckle, pear, and lemon smoother the palate. Finish is a bit tart, but seems to last indefinitely! Some seriously good juice!!

November 6, 2016 - Two years later, this has the same sea-spray component that I found in my 2014, a scent of the ocean breeze. Has a lovely core of green apple, light slate, lime and fresh lemon peel with medium weight. A nice salinity finishes the wine and keeps it fresh. There is no booze imprint anywhere on this wine--not in the aroma or palate, nor is there oak or wood. Just a cool core of citrus acidity. If I was served this blind, I would have a # of guesses, ranging from Sancerre to Chablis. Awesome stuff, made in an anti-modern style. 12.9% and $26......!

September 25, 2016 - Bright fruit and a distinct savory, mouthfilling texture. This is a fascinating wine that does not fall into any camp I can think of. Whenever I try to pin it down it jumps away.
