November 18, 2023 - Pretty damn good for a 12 year old wine with very average storage conditions for most of its life.
Tight as hell upon opening, almost to the point of being disappointing. After 30 minutes in the decanter, it started to earn its stripes with lovely raspberry and herbal flavors- almost like a raspberry pie with thyme flakes baked on top.
Finish started to show some of that iconic Piedmont “tar” flavors. -

February 11, 2023 - (Decanted for one hour)
Incipient maturity on the nose showing leather, violets and herbs wit hip roses hiding underneath in a delicious way. Refreshing tannins on the palate showing cherries and hip roses with a pleasant fruitful sweet intensity on the finish showing a touch of herbs. Very fine with decanting and matched with food, but can keep a couple of years extra.

July 9, 2022 - (Decanted for one hour)
Brick red colour with a maturing nose showing leather, red berries and some sandal wood. Still showing a freshness with a tight acidity and tannins starting to smooth out in a nice and balanced way with the primary fruitiness some fresh herbs.
