August 15, 2020 - Last of our '12 Pelos and it did not disappoint. Decanted 30 minutes, consumed over the next 3 hours and held up over the entire time. Juicy acids, loads of fruit, fully integrated and everything nicely intertwined. This shows the warmth of a 2012 vintage but not in any negative way. If I had any left, I'd consume over the next 2 years.
May 27, 2020 - Definitely drink now. Very good but near the backside of peak.
January 3, 2020 - Everything I hope for in Oregon Pinot, and a great examples of the vineyard. This has years of pleasure ahead.
May 31, 2019 - The baking spice, smoke, and black raspberry all go on forever. A BLOCKBUSTER without being extreme. Will last 5-7 more yrs effortlessly, however you prefer your OR pinot.
February 23, 2019 - Pretty red fruits, baking spices, nice acid lift. Little bigger (vintage specific) but not anything objectionable. A lovely wine to share with family on a cool winter eventing.
January 27, 2018 - Lovely at a pre-Christmas family gathering at Trifecta.
September 1, 2017 - Didn't wait 2 years like I noted; only 1.5 years since last bottle. Bigger like one would expect with the vintage still nice acids and not a fruit bomb. Spicy red fruits with a mineral streak and forest floor bottom. Nice lift from the acids as well.
February 5, 2016 - Big, dark fruits, spicy core, a sense of coffee on the finish with underlying earth tones. Very nice but big. Will wait 2 years for next bottle.
January 21, 2016 - excellent. Big red fruits, density without being overcooked. Nice spice touches. Plenty to like here.
December 1, 2015 - Probably needs another year or so but still a nice wine.
