January 25, 2021 - Some cherries in the nose - on the palette you get more dark cherries, blackberries and also leather - towards the end you also get some menthol. Tannins very soft - clearly more acidity /medium +) but still a well balanced wine - we are happy to stay at solid 92.

August 24, 2019 - This is really developing nicely - the wine is so smooth and elegant - a perfect balance and so nice - I really like this wine and is very happy to go to big 92 - this wine is developing so nicely.

March 9, 2018 - It is a rosso but you think Brunello - I get cherries in the nose - on the palette you also get raspberries and clearly black berries. Since I had it the last time the tannins has become more soft - but everything is still perfectly integrated. I am increasing my rating I think everything is just a bit better - really drinking well - a great wine. But also not a cheap wine.

December 27, 2016 - Lots of dark fruit - cherries, blackberries and raspberries I think. Medium tannins perfect balance - a high quality wine - that is drinking well today - but still can last for some years.

June 26, 2016 - 100% Sangiovese which really surprises me. Thought for sure there was some cab sauv in here, but perhaps the prominence of all that new oak just made it seem new world super tuscan-like. Wonderful balance and structure, soft tannins, and really expands on the palate. Drinking well now without a decant, but it’s solidly built and could go a decade easy before it mellows into something deeper. I paid $40 here in Honolulu where everything costs more, but if it’s in the $28 range elsewhere it’s a great bargain.
