December 13, 2015 - Delicious red cherry and raspberries on the nose and palate with wonderful mouthfeel and acidity on the long finish. Paired beautifully with Greek lemon chicken.
December 31, 2013 - Christmas & New Year 2013; 12/20/2013-1/1/2014: Dark cherry fruit on June nose with a slightly kirschy element. With time the kirsch subsides to reveal lighter cherry fruit in a very rounded and quite plush frame. Similar on palate. Dark cherry fruit and a little spice. The initial kirsch element with its consequent slightly hot finish evaporates to leave a far smoother, quite plush and really quite long finish after an hour or so. Lots of interest here and quite stylishly done. It's not burgundy, but it is quite refined and nicely structured. ****
April 4, 2012 - At age eight, this one has developed a sense of itself. I'd say that it's better at 5 minutes than at 20 minutes, but at 20, the nose is femininely fragrant, the mouth is sauvely round, and the length is lusciously long. The whole picture is very brushy with a nice fruit background but not in an "old" sort of brushy style, but in a style that says "this is what I am." I'd like a bit more fill in the middle of the wine, a bit more brush in the nose, and a bit more complexity in the fruit, but we always complain about that which we love, right? I found it to be quite compelling. Very nice.
May 16, 2010 - Really enjoyed Littorai's One Acre over the years, but the Savoy of late seems much more ripe to me. Not quite KB territory, but really not much acid and pretty "routine" flavor profile. Liked it a little better on release.
February 5, 2010 - Popped and poured. Complex nose of forest floor, cherries, with a definite herbal note. On the palate, wonderful fruit but a very unusually complex palate reflecting the nose with great depth - much more forest floor and herbs than fruity, although it has very significant depth. Much better integrated and less "clumsy" than some vintages of Savoy I've had previously. In the context of other Littorai bottlings this is on the more intense side. This could develop additional complexity but is drinking very well.

December 28, 2008 - nice black cherry, pomegranate and spice with a nice acidity that makes this a big friend of food. Held up for 4+ days after being recorked and was better for the rest.
December 3, 2008 - some mild forest floor/mushroom and dark fruit. a pinot that is just on the right side of the fence for me with regards to power. not for the feint of heart.
August 10, 2008 - Dark in color with crimson tones. Raspberries and more raspberries from nose to mouth. Layers of fruit flavors with a perfume quality. A lovely wine that will continue to improve in the bottle. This wine is a poster child for Anderson Valley pinot.
