October 31, 2017 - My previous score of 91 might have been a bit generous and is definitely taking value into consideration as this wine is quite sweet and rustic and lacks elegance and finesse.
However, it is an easy drinker and IS gaining a lot in complexity and shows no sign of breaking it's curve of evolution. There are some really nice tertiary coffee notes appearing which are very appealing. Overall an above average SA sparkling in the 20$ category.
It is generously dosaged and I think this will bolster the wine for further development. I might be rewarded by saving my last bottles for some years still.

October 21, 2016 - This was really tasty and maturing perfectly. Nice gunpowdery and smoky notes and nicely rounded. Could wish for a bit more richness og concentration - but all in all very nice and excellent for the price (20$).

December 24, 2014 - Tasted at Klein Constantia Estate.
Blanc de Blancs, 100% Chardonnay and of the dry aperitif, gout Francais style. Lean with a touch of sweet edge on the finish, more from the dosage than from ripeness of fruit. Ok bubbles but thats all. 871 person found this helpful Comment
