November 26, 2021 - Pretty garnet color. Exuberant floral nose, with leathery and herbal undertones. Red and black fruit on the palate, oak is fully integrated. Sour cherry and pomegranate. Mushrooms, forest floor, and a hint of cigar box. Bracing acidity, and subtle tannins. Elegant and balanced. PnP, decanted for sediment only. Perfect cork. Best on day one.

November 26, 2021 - Disappointing. The color is light which matches the body but I'd be more inclined to call this thin vs. light/delicate. The nose is very nice with rose and light red fruit but the body is just too thin. I can't help being reminded of inexpensive red burgundy. And I've never had a decent one of those.

I think most Sonoma/CA pinot noir is too heavy but this is too much in the other direction. I see an earlier taster declared a flawed bottle but I don't detect any classic faults in this.
