November 14, 2017 - Very rough straight out of the bottle. Double vinturied, then drank two days later. Then it developed a really nice creamy character. If you have any, sit on it.

February 28, 2016 - Extremely dark magenta. Bombastic blackberry nose, full of herb and wood. Taste is just big Bordeaux style meh, nothing distinctive and bordering on over extracted and covered up by new oak. Tannins are in excess, hold on for at least two more years and hope it's mellowed out.

August 29, 2015 - Nice wine, but certainly not one of the best of Seven Hills. I think many of their other wines are superior.

November 18, 2014 - This wine screams "steak!" to me. Black fruit, grilled meat, and spices greet the nose. Full bodied with black cherry and pepper flavors. Wonderful, intense finish.

November 16, 2014 - I went to the tasting room and I thought it was a wonderful Malbec from Walla Walla and I can't wait to open it in a couple of years.
