Community Tasting Notes 26

  • wayfarer Likes this wine: 90 points

May 17, 2020 - Delicious, developing some brulee/aged notes, showing a bit of creaminess on palate to complement the acid/mineral/citrus.

May 29, 2019 - Exploring french whites with seafood in Oleron island: Blind tasting for my guests. Nose closed unspecific. Mouth with a nice personnality, fresh, with light residual sugar, light white flowers, good balance. The residual sugar disturb me, it is not what I'm looking for a Sancerre.

  • wgmccallum Likes this wine: 92 points

October 24, 2018 - Infusion of tea and lemon grass on the nose. Crackling fruit on the palate with an intense core, great focus and grip on the back. Vibrant and singing. 50 + 17 + 17 + 8 = 92.

July 19, 2018 - Crisp aromas of green apple, quince, with a slight note of fresh cut hay. Pure deep fruit on the palate with great drive and energy, sparkling acids, and a long finish. Exuberant yet precise. 50 + 16 + 17 + 8 = 91.

February 9, 2018 - Shy but complex nose of lemon, dry stalks, spring water, with a hint of hot red pepper. Intense focus and grip on the palate with a penetrating dose of fruit melting into a clear ringing acid finish. 50 + 17 + 17 + 8 = 92.
