It was just opening after a hour in the decant stage..a stellar example of a WA Syrah ..
Restrainted but exposing just enough ripe fruit and acid to balance out the finish .
I have one more and will open it in 2025. -

March 21, 2022 - Bart's. Shows some barrel notes and it's on the sweet side, so guesses immediately went to WA state. Complex black fruit and smoked meats with notes of lime rind and other unusual characteristics. Polished mouthfeel. Obviously expert winemaking here, not surprised by the reveal.

December 25, 2020 - With some air, this wine reveals rich blue and black fruit flavors, smoked meats, and spices, particularly a peppery finish. Polished and refined. Still a lot left in the tank, but quite good now.
