January 25, 2020 - In a good spot now. Early decanting helps it wake up. Dried cherry, charred meat and aged leather, all of which which pretty much translate to the palate, with the fruit by no means being dominant. Not very tannic, but plenty of presence. Nice medium plus acidity with an easy finish.

August 3, 2018 - Interesting wine although clearly not as fruit forward as all of there other wines. Having been to Spain this year it is easy to see a connection with wines from there, although it remains unique compared to those. Restrained black and purple fruit, black tea flavors, that lack depth and ripeness of other LC wines. Moderately deep in flavors, but flavors do not explode in your mouth, nor do the flavors persist as long. Well enjoyed by all, but not my favorite of the different wines they produce.

September 18, 2017 - Very nice tempranillo. A little acid but nice balance.

January 26, 2017 - Big integrated wine. Deep purple garnet in color. Red/blue/black fruit that is well integrated, black tea underneath the fruit. Smooth and supple in the mouth with medium long finish. I get the blueberry from Mourvedre, sweetness from Granache, and I think that temprnillo gives it a smoothness that you do not get with a GMS blend. Delightful wine and hard to believe this is their second wine.

November 25, 2015 - Not one of Linne Calodos better offerings. A strange but interesting brew of Mourvedre-Grenache-Tannat-Tempranillo. Displays an adequate nose of crushed black pepper, cut rhubarb, and blackberry. Quite thin on the mid palate. Fleeting finish with moderate tannin. This is for near term consumption that might pair with a wheel of Gouda and soda crackers. Nothing exciting to see here....
