June 21, 2020 - For any taste, the wine improved from 91 to 92 after some exposure to air.
April 6, 2020 - still drinking great. Dark black cherry, vanilla, raisin. A little fat in the middle, but a sweet lingering finish that is very enjoyable. A hefty Pinot.
March 7, 2020 - Full of fruit. Jammy fruit. And sugar. Sugary fruit.
Thank goodness this is our last bottle.
November 19, 2019 - PnP. Light red fruit and earthiness on the nose. Red and dark red fruits, spice, earth, some black pepper, but with not quite enough acidity made the wine a touch flabby. Could hold for another couple of years.
April 30, 2019 - PnP. A medium to plus bodied pinot with solid red fruits, balancing acidity, and a vein of spice. However, it just didn't taste like pinot noir. Could it be another of Joe's "concoctions"? Not our preferred style.
December 16, 2018 - Earthy, good wine but doesn't taste like Pinot Noir.
October 17, 2018 - This is holding well. Time has helped it lose some its flubber and sweetness. After an hour or 2 it was showing nice red fruit with smooth tannins and no discernable sweetness as it usualy does when younger. Perfectly integrated. Having to open a 750, I would decant it an hour.
September 29, 2018 - Very earthy but finally exhibited Pinot characteristics. Very dark still but overally enjoyable as a Pinot Noir.
July 21, 2018 - Wonderful dark fruit. Beautiful Pinot. Short decant.
July 15, 2018 - Opened for a few hours before dinner. Dark red fruit on the nose, the palate is dark cherry, red plums and spice. The finish is full and moderately long.
