  November 3, 2017 - Slightly discrete but elegant and complex nose with somewhat ripe yellow fruit, zest, brioche, some mineral and toast/smoke, some nuts, and hints of marzipan. Medium-bodied with a fruity attack, citrus including zest, some stone fruit, green apple mid-palate, soft mousse, good acidity, and rather fruity but balanced aftertaste. Elegant rather than a heavyweight, drinks well now with some developed notes, but could develop further, 90-91 p.
  
  Bottle disgorged 30/08/2013, which I believe to be the only batch produced (at least so far). "B de B" means Besserat de Bellefon. At 45 CH/45 PN/10 PM it is not a blanc de blancs.

On the palate quite big, ripe and vinous with a good deal of red apple, dark berries and cola. Fortunately there is also easily enough acid to keep things fresh and drinkable and the finish is actually delightfully tangy and long. Stylistically not really up my alley as this tastes very much "made"; I definitely enjoyed Besserat's 2002 Millésimé more last summer. A good drink nevertheless.
