July 31, 2021 - Medium nose with notes of sour cream, red cherry, strawberry, spices, flora. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Finish seem to be short for a grand cru. Drinking well now.

December 28, 2019 - Needed 6 hours of air to open up. Thick and concentrated nose with sweet spiced fruit and sour cream. Vosne spice with lots of light floral components.
Palate has intense and balanced fruit filling the palate with a long lingering spicy and fruity finish. Very good! Tannins are also aplenty and quite balanced within the wine.

February 1, 2019 - Still young, but very nice aromatics of sweet red berries, red currant, violets, rose petal, pepper, sweet spices, cedar wood and tobacco leaf, a touch of menthol too. It's medium-bodied with excellent mid-palate persistence and a weightless overall impression. Medium+ tannin and medium acidity. Very good length. A young but very pretty Echezeaux. Surprisingly weightless for 2012 and the Cru. This can still develop for quite a few years. (94+)

February 1, 2019 - Elegant, lots of red fruit, cranberries in the nose but also a distinct spicy cedarwood note making the wood treatment very visible. Tannins still a bit scratchy. I like the elegance and I also like the fact that the unresolved wood is not your in the face vanilla type. Good lenght. Give this time in the cellar an you will have a winner. Best after 2025

May 13, 2017 - Dypere og mer konsentrert frukt enn '13. Mørke kirsebær og røde plommer. Litt mer rustikk i uttrykket. La ligge to år til.
