Cleaned the neck off and decanted gently through a filter.
Absolutely at peak. Appearance rather primary, but without the brightness of a young wine. Soft, supple mouthfeel, with lots of earth, leather, smoke, and dark fruit. Did not show the level of acid I've tasted in some of the early 90s vintage Rafanelli cabs. If you own any, drink up. This won't get any better, and may not hold at this level all that long. -
