July 10, 2020 - Liquid velvet. Smooth as hell, loto of deep red ripe cherry, chocolate and smoke on the finish. One of the best wines i have ever tasted.

July 10, 2020 - Vanilla and oak on the nose. Big RE fruit and floral undertones. Great balance, smooth tannins, round luscious mouth feel.

July 9, 2020 - Big, dark, brooding 18 year old cab. Lovely nose, legs, mouthfeel. Dark looking but to me more red than black berries. Quilceda Creek never disappoints. Only disappointment is that I have only one bottle left of this vintage.

June 28, 2020 - Big, concentrated mouth-filling wine that shows fruit and power with a semblance of balance and just a touch of heat remaining. Definitely in the 93-94 pt range.

June 6, 2020 - From our cellar. Decanted - lots of thick sediment. Served on the cool side and drank over a 3 hour window - little to no change in quality as it warmed up to room temperature. Outstanding wine. Big, luscious, similar to some of the Shiraz we've had from AUS. A touch of bricking on the rim. Nose of dark fruits. Very smooth palate, med acidity, lots of plum, dark cherry, bacon fat, chocolate. Oak and alcohol are not that evident. Tannins are mostly resolved but still present, long finish. Went great with lamb chops. In a great spot, drink now or continue to hold.
