April 11, 2023 - Developing great flavours but still running an overdose of citrus acids.

August 30, 2022 - It is a value for money chardonnay in a good way but not wow.

Nose has notes of stone fruits, especially grapefruit, nectarine and yellow peach with a touch of vanilla and nuttiness. Body lacked complexity and depth and somewhat insipid but for its price, it is more than acceptable. Finish was citrus and slates and quite long. Reasonable yumminess factor.

    Drink now or 2+ years.

May 17, 2022 - Better than the last bottle! A fresh aftertaste. Oak nose. 14 % alcohol. Mineral flavours. Great wine getting better with age.

June 11, 2021 - Sometimes less is more. The quietest voice can be the loudest. And so it is with this wine. Not overly interested in immediate gratification: quite happy to wait longer for two rewards instead of one now. Leaving just enough to the imagination, definitely seductive with smokey reduction and struck match. White Burgundy via the Pyrenees (Western Victoria). A somewhat surprising 14% ABV.

January 16, 2018 - I thought i would have another look at this wine again as it was getting ready to drink last year , an we have now Jan 2018.
Straw Yellow in colour with green rim at Jan 2018. ready
Clean Mature developed citrus fruit now showing with integrated oak, which is ready for certain. On the palate we have mature bottled developed style with mature lite fruit now in mid palate as only showing bottle aged characters only . Was best last few years as wine only shows aged characters now. A lot of people like that , but i prefer more fruit on palate .Drink up if you have some, but ok with Tiki Masala as aged characters cut through sweet dishes well.

October 4, 2016 - Nice balance. The fruit is pronounced, the acidity is fine and restrained. There is good oak which makes the wine nicely integrated. Still drinking well. Has another 3 to 5 years at least.
