February 24, 2015 - Or 88...I think i had a go at this previously, didn't document. I like this profile and the low entry level price. Drinks fine now, and will last a least 2 more years yet. Light nose of red fruit. Palate is sharp with acid and light coating tannin. Fruit takes some time to come into play - but mid/late palate - get dark red sour cherry/blackberry with some bitter coco/leather notes in distant finish. May sound odd, but i like the package and is of course better with everyday dinner fare. Try with some pizza/pasta...I would buy next years vintage for a go.
