December 23, 2020 - A solid wine, particularly with 1-2 hours of air. Nice for the price.
I had half a glass. The whole bottle consumed in 1 night.

November 28, 2020 - Weird pruny thing going on here. Hope it was just an off bottle
September 21, 2019 - Somewhat restrained. Needs a couple of hours decanting before opens up. Not as good as the 2009. Dry, with a brambly - somewhat rough finish with some mild tannin. Not a bad drinker but not as good as past years.
August 18, 2019 - Attractive deep red. Full body. Nice aroma upfront, then mostly from oak with slight alcohol. Taste is smooth with black cherry, espresso and pencil lead. Finish not too long, but enjoyable. I thinking it is right in the drinking window now.
50% sangiovese, 25% Cabernet sauvignon, 25% Merlot, (13.5% alc)

April 25, 2016 - Interesting wine. Wouldn't have guessed it was Italian, although it is a Super Tuscan. Big bold fruit, leather, cherry, black fruits and baking spices. Would have guessed high end Cotes du Rhone like Coudoulet. I thought it was slightly bitter and hot, but otherwise a decent drink.
January 16, 2016 - I'm shocked how well priced this wine is. Drinks like a solid supertuscan. Reminiscent of brancaia ilatraia.
January 10, 2016 - full bodied well balanced with oak and cedar. Lots of tannins, but opens up with some time. A nice Super Tuscan
December 11, 2015 - Big and fruit forward for Tuscan, but medium bodied and good acidity vs. new world. Great QPR.
