  December 23, 2019 - Still holding its own, although it might be on the "back side" of its prime. A nice mix of berry flavors with some mild spice. The finish tends to have a bit more "bite" at the end than is optimal, but it doesn't (yet) detract. We have one more bottle, which we will decant for a couple of hours before drinking. If you still have this in your cellar, don't wait too much longer before enjoying it.

  October 7, 2015 - Bright and vibrant ruby red to the rim. Robust tangy strawberry aroma accentuated with notes of citrus and forest undergrowth. Delicious red berry fruits along with beautiful acidity hits palate with tartness. Light yet full-flavored, this wine is not unlike a well-made weightier Pinot. Only if it can be a bit more layered and with longer finish. Great with roasted chicken, hams, and pastas. Bravos.

  June 4, 2014 - Rhone Rangers DC (Longview Gallery - Washington, DC): Nose: black currant, roasted fig. Full, creamy but tangy on the palate, with blueberry and black currants. Big but tastes cool and crisp. Some sweet cola and purple bubble gum characteristics. A well-done, fruit forward wine.
