March 21, 2024 - A little sweet for me, but well made overall. Likely doesn't have many years left (I assume it had more structure when it was younger to balance the sweet fruit), so drink up.
December 23, 2023 - Smooth and balanced. Still strong fruit with an even finish. Still another year or two left I think.
November 12, 2023 - Decanted one hour - just a tiny bit of sediment. Deep ruby. Fairly sweet nose of black and blue berries, kirsch and smokey oak. Plush, slightly savory black cherry fruit with a little chocolate and oak. Medium bodied but rich, seems to have a dollop of Merlot. Nicely balanced with enough stuffing to last another 5ish years. Big "Yum" from my wife.
May 9, 2023 - seems to be falling out of a drinking window... somewhat muted, finish getting a little flat. I don't see upside
January 7, 2022 - Tasty, but likely a year or two away from peak. It shed some off green/vegetal notes as it was open for more than an hour. Give it until 2024 if you can
March 27, 2020 - Nice. Decanted. But I’d wait another year or two.
December 23, 2019 - Better than a year ago...open for business now. Maybe a little too sweet, agree with others that fruit is hiding a bit, but overall a nice bottle with a good finish tonight.
November 28, 2019 - Restrained and fine with some red fruits showing.
February 20, 2017 - Decanted 2 hours and drank over 4. Liquored dark fruits and healthy tannins create a pretty unique profile. Fruit certainly buried though. Mouthcoating, but with a certain restrained character. Last glass was the best.
January 3, 2017 - Very enjoyable. Dark and rich. Not a value, but still very good.
