November 25, 2021 - Suprise…the other hit of Thanksgiving, served w/ dinner w/ another red. Opened 1 hour prior. This was the favorite red by far for most. Nose is reminiscent of my smoker, smoked wine!…we all thought would be heavy in the mouth. Quite the opposite, med verging to light, no smoke taste at all, so calm and smooth from aged integration, and in such a great place right now. Stellar bottle from cellar to share at Turkey time!

October 17, 2020 - This shares some common traits with the VV but it is the deepest, darkest night. The fruit gets darker, towards the black currant, blackberry end of the spectrum and there is a distinct turned dark earth and leather note but it is the endless fruit on the finish that really captivates. I love the feel on the palate. It picks up a slight hint of violets on the nose. Really profound Morgon that I'd prefer to drink now as opposed to when it goes pinote.

March 28, 2020 - As others already noted, very drinkable right now; still deep fruited, with fine tannin, and good acidity. Went well on the first day with grilled chicken, asparagus, and mushrooms. I preferred the slight richness and the lithe acidity it developed on on the second day a bit more. Bought from a secondary source earlier this year.

    December 23, 2019 - 看了下面的评论,希望挺高。结果差一些。aged的有点快,水果有皮诺的影子。第二天,更差。

November 3, 2019 - Drinking very well- rich, baking spices, deep fruit, very Morgon, just softer and harmonious. My first of a case, but not sure there's much reason to hold back on these.

August 24, 2019 - My last bottle of this was tight and restrained but not this one. Almost immeasurably deep and the structure seems to have come around. Really a point. I think this may be a one-off from really old (like 120 years old or something) vines. In no danger of falling off a cliff, but so good now it deserves to be drank.

August 13, 2019 - Previous bottles last year were ungiving but this svelte wine has now opened up and is drinking beautifully (based on two more recent bottles).

July 13, 2019 - LA rookies reunited: decanted.
    Opaque dark violet color.
Nose a bit closed, some spice, mostly grapey.
Palate candied, a coolness to the fruit, nice tart acidity.
Enjoyable and probably at peak, but not the most complex Bojo -- wonder if it suffered from decanting, as it didn't seem as an enjoyable as a bottle tasted a few months prior. 88 pts
