December 21, 2016 - Excellent Pinot right in its prime showing no signs of degradation. Light tannins, mild fruit. Enjoy knowing it could easily last another 7-8 yrs.

November 27, 2010 - This bottle was shipped by the winery upon release during an October heat wave in a pulp shipper, so it may be somewhat compromised. Color was a medium ruby, perhaps a bricked at the edge, but it did not have a stewed nose nor any indications of seepage on the cork. Reticent nose that did expand slightly with time. This wine exhibited shy fruit, and most of the characteristics alluded to in other notes, but it ws subtle to the point of needing one to search for it. Not rated.

October 26, 2010 - I opened this after reading a previous posters positive note. He was right this wine is definitely in it's prime and showing extremely well just wish I had a few bottles in my cellar.

August 30, 2009 - Black cherries and spice on the nose, which developed very nicely over the course of a couple of hours; strong note of alcohol detracts. Palate is rich, nicely balanced, showing bright cherry fruit, and the alcohol is held in check (unlike the nose). Very Russian River. Nice wine, which gained complexity and interest as it opened up. The only nit is the noticeable alcohol on the nose.

April 26, 2009 - Dark ruby. Nose of fennel, thyme, bing cherry, mountain flowers. Gooseberry and black cherry flavors layering on the palate with a very nice finish, reasonable acidity and moderated tannins. Astringent after about 3 hours. Young yet, but an excellent effort.
