December 18, 2010 - Nice mid-body Bordeaux with good lenght, tannins are well integrated, perhaps more of a subtle wine when compared to the new international style. Went well with braised veal shanks.

March 10, 2010 - Decanted and drank over about 4 hours. I have never heard of this wine before seeing this at the local wine shop tonight. I figured, $35 for a 2000 Margaux was a safe bet. Took some time to come together in the decanter, but once it did it showed a lovely elegant, mature, and floral wine. The nose took some coaxing in the glass, but once swirling the aromatics came jumping out of the glass with mature cherries, leather, dusty earth and sweet spices. This carried over to the palate with a nice balsamic flavor in the mid palate and the dusty, mature fruits out of the (far too) brief finish. All in all a nice wine that probably doesn't have a ton of time left in it, but for the price is an inexpensive way to get that aged Bordeaux fix.

December 25, 2007 - Decanted for only about 30 minutes. Elegant wine with ripe fruit, earth, touch of tobacco.

June 20, 2007 - From a novice palate, this wine lacks depth and is just barely drinkable.
