March 30, 2008 - Interesting experience here. Upon opening, this was almost undrinkable. Wildly volatile acids...sour red fruit...almost painful...Went and got another bottle....same thing...huh...gave it some time...like 15 minutes...what a transformation...holy sheet, what an amazing transformation...lush dark fruit with raspberry, prune and sweet vanilla flavors. Finish is briary, as it should be with a nice Zin. What an experience with these bottles tonight.
