December 31, 2021 - Really well balanced wine with plenty of stuffing to stand up to the 14.5 percent alcohol. The color is a orange/brown which is a little off-putting. Drink up now.

March 28, 2021 - Whoa. This was serious and from 2009 no less. Was not sure what to expect as many of the 2009s I have had were on the lighter side, almost Rosso like in quality, but not this! Popped and poured. Strong hints of blackberry, currants, mushroom/truffle notes. Lighter in color--slight bricking, but to be expected with a 12 year old Brunello. Medium-Full bodied with beautifully integrated tannins which were so silky smooth. This is at peak now and I'd say drink over next 2-3 years for max enjoyment. Bravo!
    Upped my score. Just amazing!

October 29, 2020 - Is this really Sangiovese??? With a ribeye this drinks like an IGT. Weighty palate and great fruit.

April 30, 2020 - Ripe, rich with interesting and intact tannins. Lacking a little acid and elegance but not a surprise at 14.5%abv. My wife loved it
