October 9, 2021 - Amazing wine. Giselles never disappoint. In a perfect drinking window RN. Balanced, complex, long finish. Bravo.

November 28, 2017 - Really interesting old world-style wine. On the pop and pour there was some heavy funk, like wet dog initially. I almost thought it was corked. Took about an hour for it to blow off and for the fruit to come out. Notes of angel food cake, heavy forest floor, earth, red fruit, and cola. I was not a fan of this at all initially, but after a couple of hours and definitely by Day 2 it won me over. The fruit is pretty faint, and the nose is shy, but it has structure to last at least another 5 years. Tastes like Burgundy that's been aged for 10+ years. I'm glad I had the patience to wait this one out after opening.

August 13, 2016 - The wine features the richness of the 2012 vintage, but is not overdone and accentuates earth and terroir over fruit and cola. A mineral vein announces its presence at the front and strengthens toward the back and finish. Forest floor and stemminess throughout. Great acid, texturally elegant, thought provoking finish. 92-93.
