  July 24, 2014 - Drank very well. Subtle nose but wonderful fruit and balance on the palate. Tannins were limited but still good bright fruit and excellent acidity. Really enjoyable.

  October 15, 2013 - 27 Vintages of Latour: Hefty smell of burned rubber and green pepper; better in the mouth with sweet fruit, full bodied but at the same time a little hollow – how strange that may sound. Very different from the Grand Vin.

  October 10, 2009 - Mature Bordeaux tasting (Le Papilion): Dark red color with an orange hue. Rustic nose with notes of cigar box, blackcurrant and green peppers. Fine pure blackcurrant first and some shoe polish and iron on the finish. Lacking a bit off intensity, especially on the length, otherwise a fine and fully mature wine.

  July 23, 2006 - This bottle was easy to drink for an 86. The colour had a very slight orange on the rim and the first smell was very Nebiollo like. I think this bottle was not reprensative of a regular Pauliac. The tannins were surprisingly smooth for this vintage and it tasted of purple fruits. The finish was not very long but it was overall a very good wine.
