June 29, 2019 - Dobbeltdekantert med shake. Sitrongress, pære og fersken. Noe mineraler. Veldig fokusert og lineær munnfølelse. Balansert, oppfattelsen av sødmen er liten. Perfekt drikkevin på sommeren og taklet spareribs fra grillen med fyrrig BBQ-saus.

February 4, 2017 - A brilliant young kabinett. So perfectly balanced, already, at this young age expressing differentiated flavors, and not demonstrating sweetness that undercuts many kabinetten until 5 or more years.

Plenty of delineated citrus tastes, with honeysuckle, lemongrass, petrol, quince and nice acid.

This will evolve ,of course, along with the greats, but it can be enjoyed very much at present.

August 9, 2015 - Wow. I honestly can not remember a straight Kabinett with a nose this "dry", salty and aromatically restrained. A bit spicy with notes of lime, jalapeno and pear, with perhaps a tiny hint of sponti funk (no idea about the fermentation here though). Very stony, very nice. On the palate superbly focused and tightly wound. Extremely chalky/stony with tangy citrus and apple fruit along with some spice. Not massively acidic, the entry feels almost a bit soft, but there is plenty structure that lead to a bone dry finish. Very little apparent sweetness, comes off more like a feinherb or halbtrocken (while the back label does state 8 % ABV). Very well balanced, airy and lip-smacking, this turned out to be extremely drinkable. Great value too at 12.50 €.

August 5, 2015 - Helt ekstremt lettdrikkelig. Rent, friskt, søtt, lett og løftet. Plutselig var flasken tom. 89p.

March 31, 2015 - Maybe candidate for Kabinett of the vintage! And they are all so good. The Goldtropfchen was as fine and filigreed as any German Riesling can be. There is sweetness, citrus, and slate. It is all at once brisk, tart, pungent, sweet, cool, refreshing, clean, and, pure, with hints of saline slate, sand, citrus, bitters, and a cool clean spice...!! Delicious and rocking right now. I love it and it was just plain better than the very good Ohligsberg.

January 16, 2015 - Soft, with just enough acid and minearality to hold up to some foods. Some sugar, low alcohol. A bit floral.

October 4, 2014 - Decent expressive nose, palate has nice depth of fruit and character and a zippy acidity core that keeps the fruit fresh, overall this did feel a touch sweeter/fruitier that what I would normally expect from a kabinett
