December 17, 2023 - Still very youthful, only just taking on a little toasty development. Fresh lime fruit flavours. Perfect amount of sweetness, countered by fine. Minerally acidity. A suggestion of chamomile with air. In a nice place. Served from Magnum.

July 14, 2023 - Medium sweet, with classic Germanic acids, all tingly, focused and intense, but always refined. The nose has a touch of kerosene, but also a touch of SO2. The fruit quality also echos the Sulfur. The minerality is lovely. It’s certainly ready, but based on its sugar and acid, this could surprise in the cellar. The Sulfur is a bit of a concern… 89+?

December 21, 2022 - Showing good development as the fruit was bright but no longer primary. Despite being slightly sweet for the designation it still had a lovely tautness and linearity that I enjoy in whites. Fantastic value as always and my favourite Riesling producer to convert non-believers.

October 4, 2021 - Sweet and vibrant, with a particularly intense and zingy acid balance, that is so typical of great Mosel Kabinetts. Very sweet for its designation, and there is still some notice SO2 on the nose and palate, although I note that this appears to be moderating in the four years since we drank this. This is feeling like it is nearing an apogee of maturity, but will continue to develop in a positive manner, with more mineral notes and honied complexity to develop with time.

March 21, 2021 - Beautiful aromatics and flavors. At this point, enough richness has fallen away on the palate to expose the acid structure, giving the wine an angular feel.
