August 3, 2019 - An OK chianti classico riserva. A bit astringent alcohol first 30 minutes, got better with food and quite enjoyable after an hour. Expected a bit more intensity and lift.
December 23, 2017 - Really liked this bottle, lots of fruit but not grapey, good tannin slightly rough, nicely balanced, a bit of complexity , drank with pizza, will drink again if the price is right as I got a vg price for the wine.
November 22, 2016 - Medium weight, solid and balanced, a bit grapey but it opened up as we drank it,not very complex but a good wine, drank with pizza, will drink again, I generally like Brancaia wines.

July 3, 2016 - Excellent vin! Un des meilleurs produit pour le prix. Belle note de cuir, fumée, long et rafraichissant. On goût les petit fruit des champs frais. Je vais donner du temps à mes prochaines bouteilles!
May 20, 2016 - quite modern but fortunetly not too much. round cherries, medium acidity (which was a surprise), low tannins and some freshness. good way of making modern chianti classico.
April 19, 2016 - totally agree the comment of dried cherry, lemon and dried chili peppers; some glycerin and spice on the nose, very enticing. Pts are relative to a standard CC. 20% Merlot really rounds this one out.

November 14, 2015 - Drank in Italian restaurant in Costa Mesa, $70 on wine list, solid, medium bodied, good fruit balanced with medium tannins, would drink again but pricey.
September 12, 2015 - Sortimentsprovning Johan Lidby Vinhandel; 9/10/2015-9/12/2015 (at their office.): very forward and open chianti classico. warm ripe fruit, new oak, some bitterness from the oak treatmenet, cherry liquor. still quite good though.
