December 1, 2019 - Cherry pie filling, plum brandy with summer savory, thyme, wet cement, milk chocolate and garden soil in the nose. Big plummy ripe red and blue fruit drifting to forest floor, mushroom, cold espresso with black pepper and new leather in the mouth. A heavy weight of a Pinot with soft silky tannin and OK acid.
Not a style I gravitate to, but it screams proudly where it is from, who made it, and the quality is undeniable.
Very nice wine and drinking very well right now. -
