April 14, 2018 - My first Galitzine. Gave it 6h slow ox then a double decant. Drank over maybe 40m. So indulgently good. At first the oak felt separated but soon it melded with focused fruit as one new being. This is QC through and through and what every great American Cab wants to be. My vote is to drink now. This has a long drinking window but aren’t we all in it for the young, supple, decadent fruit?

October 4, 2017 - Decanted about 1hour. Ripe, bold red fruit with the expected Cab nose. Floral mixed with spice and earth. Nice finish but not particularly long. That kep my rating below a true classic Cab. The wine is still young but wanted to try it. We will wait a while on the next bottle.

March 26, 2017 - Still young but approachable. 3 hour decant and enjoyed over 3 hours. Tannins on the back end, but not over
    overpowering.

June 15, 2016 - This bootle was a bit too young for me. The alcohol was very strong and overwhelming, looked at the bottle and it says 15.2%. Really no development yet and was a bit all over the place. I am probably scoring it better than I should but mainly I feel like I opened it too young. Didn't get better after an hour though. Won't touch the next bottle for a few years and hopeful it comes together.
