September 1, 2023 - On the downward slope (with dignity). A touch nutty on the nose. Bruised stone fruit and wilting flower notes. But holding some energy. Smashing with Comté. Just hewing to mature and a bit beyond. Very good, but better, I reckon a few years ago. Drink up.

December 25, 2020 - Drinking really well. This has a lightly oxidative nose but you could still get some nice fruit through it. This seemed like it was in a good place maturity wise...obviously it could go a long time and just get more like a ox'd Jura wine. However, it had a good balance of fresh fruit and nutty, apricot mature flavors. Good bottle of wine.

August 18, 2018 - This was delicious; reminiscent of white burgundy with some added funk on the nose. The palate was rich and vibrant, with a lingering sweetness.

November 22, 2016 - Väldigt bra i typisk jura-stil. Lätt oxiderad, mycket citrus och äpplen. Hög syra, torrt och ganska generös kropp. Enda minuset är en lite tråkig päronsplitt-ton. Snäppet bättre dag 2.

May 9, 2016 - One of my favorite Ganevat cuvees. Blend of 50% Savagnin/50% Chardonnay.

Austere wine with beautiful structure and concentration. Viscous, with a very long finish. Reminded me of a Hermitage Blanc. Very interesting wine.

September 26, 2014 - Another fine Ganevat this time for his new venture in Arbois.
Not sure if it is the Savagnin or the terroir, but I get a more classic Jura notes of nuts and earth that I find in other Arbois wines.
The texture is soft almost oily, with a round enveloppe more akin of Ganevat's wines, with a nice acidic cut. Good pairing with cream mushroom pasta.
