March 17, 2012 - This one was starting to show some nice aged characteristics and golden color. Awesome complex nose of dried hay, honeyed nuts, maybe some peach cobbler. Follows though with restrained stone fruit, lemon, lime with some raw almonds. As it warmed int he glass, some lemon curd pudding. Had a nice balance and and long finish. There isn't enough concentration or grip to warrant any more aging, but a really nice aged chard.

December 26, 2011 - Very nice depth, showing intense stone fruit, good acidity, excellent overall balance. Drunk along side a 2004 Girardin Puligny Combettes, the Peay was a bit rounder, and seemed to show a bit more oak, but held its own quite well.

January 2, 2011 - Last bottle. A blast of citrus and minerality. This wine has a t least a few years left. Yum.
