January 10, 2021 - Still some dark red berry fruit on the nose. Noticed secondary notes leather and dark chocolate. Soft tannins with balanced acidity.
March 30, 2018 - Ruby, but cloudy; nose: tart, full of red berries. Taste: balanced soft, fruity - vlueberries. Austere. Elegant.
September 21, 2017 - Monthly tasting club "The Tasting Club" Bordeaux 2009 and 2010 (@ PD): Beautiful bouquet with dark berries, some red berries, oak and autumn flavors. On the palate juicy red and dark berries, good acidity and round tannin. Still very youthful, but already a pleasure. 89 - 90
May 13, 2016 - Toes the line of modernity while acknowledging its roots. Elegant, fruit driven bouquet. Young, still unresolved, showing medium plus acid, and a taut mouthfeel. Likely best after 2020. 90-92.

October 2, 2015 - A private dinner (Restaurant Simple, Utrecht, Netherlands): Generous style, light structure, good ripe yet fresh fruit (blueberry, raspberry), floral lift, gentle tannins, very approachable and forward but with a nice gravelly elegance, well-integrated oak provides a touch of spice, fresh acidity carriea the finish to good length. Attractive wine, for drinking now and over the next five years.
October 26, 2014 - Very approachable now. Medium to full bodied. Smooth, and velvety. Subdued dark fruit with very slight hints of cigar. A nice wine.
June 28, 2014 - Blackberry colour. Nose: blueberries with some black pepper, dusty. Taste: rather lightbodied with small tannic volume; bit fruity, thin and fresh. Elegant.
