February 3, 2021 - And that 93 points is given against what the best from Europe can give.
For its price, quite remarkable = beautifully lifted nose of dark fruit, smoke and undergrowth, perfumed and very intriguing. The palate took a little longer to get going; it was reasonably full but had just a touch of maderisation. That went after two hours, to reveal a wine of texture and depth, where the smokiness is fully integrated into the structure of the wine.

This is a very fine effort from Thorn-Clarke, and really you should be up there with the greats, but advertising and the promotion of name-brands
will make this difficult. Don't give up. You are making wine that costs me $400 dollars a bottle to get from the UK.

    Cheers,

March 10, 2018 - Decanted for 8 hours. A medium/full-bodied wine. Plum & blackberry on the nose with a hint of chocolate. This was a lovely wine. Quite savoury with nicely balanced tannin's riding on a wave of oak & sandalwood. I still have two. I have heard it could go down another 9 years but i felt it was almost at it's peak so i'll open another one later this year or next year & see how it's changed.

October 2, 2016 - Inky purple with nice slow legs. PNP. Nose of blackberries, blueberries and cedar. Tastes are similar with notes of black pepper and eggplant. Medium bodied. Nice balance of fruit and acidity. Great value at less than $20 per bottle.

April 10, 2016 - 2010 Two Hands Garden Series plus a lot more (Colonial Beverage, Chesterland Ohio): I have and continue to be a fan of these wines. Inky purple in color. The nose has black raspberries and spice. A palate to match. Not great acidity but enough to carry the fruit. Always a great value. They age well too. Happy to drink one blind to confirm my thoughts.

March 5, 2016 - Very purple color on the rim of glass. Had a decent aroma of dark fruit and cedar. It opened up nicely and had dark fruit tastes. This is a good value wine for the price, but this isn't a 'great' shiraz by any means. For what's its worth I enjoyed it, very drinkable, and like i said, the price is right with this one. I say try it, but don't expect a world beater.

September 5, 2015 - Wines over Labor day Weekend; 9/5/2015-9/8/2015: This is really nice and at under $20, there is a lot of value here. Purple in color. The nose has black raspberries, black pepper and cedar. Juicy texture. ice black raspberry fruit with firm tannins on the palate. Nice finish. The bottle had been open a while and I found this less jammy than a freshly opened bottle a few weeks ago.
