January 7, 2017 - The last glass of a bottle opened before 2005 (it was bottled in 2000). I thought I had lost my taste for whisky but this was really quite nice. Saline, smoky caramel in the nose, and a taste that is at once spirity (as hard spirits should be) and mellow and rich, ending on a smoky peaty note.
