    June 27, 2022 - Classic old Burgundy.
    Fantastic on the nose.
Not completely translucent (A little 'dusty')

    January 26, 2022 - Popped and poured.
Red fruit (raspberry, cherry), spice, earth, nice floral, good acidity. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.

June 23, 2021 - Corton Rouge Burgs on a Summer Night (Martina, Mpls): Dark red color. PNP, full bodied, deep cherry and blakc cherry, a hint of sweet brown sugar and a touch of earth to the slightly coarse tannins.

April 3, 2019 - Despite the write- off by critics, this modestly priced and never truly Grand Cru Latour stalwart delivered beautifully tonight. Even the 2003 ripeness did not force the fruit into awkward places. A very dark red color and some of the stern Corton posture played nicely against ripe blackberry, dark cherry, wet oak and refined earthy flavors. Absent were floral tones and a full finish. The wine was not on its right shoulder and stood fresh throughout the meal, but this needs to be consumed now.

January 25, 2018 - Solid pinot with good balance of tangy pinot fruit, damp earth, and underbrush. But there wasn't much power or excitement to this wine. For a grand cru, it was disappointing.
