February 8, 2019 - Damn. In Mumbai. Wine starved so this is a treat. In the glass it’s dark, looks ripe. Lovely nose. Dark fruits on the nose, but of blueberry creme. Full bodied on the P&P. Tight. Balanced. Lingering forever. Smoky cherry fruit.

December 8, 2018 - Rich raisin, cedar and leather air over blackcurrant and cherry. This wine has me at the nose! Smells amazing! Lovely fine mouth-coating tannins. Still getting fruit on the front palate, cherry and blackberry, moving to cured meats in the mid palate and finishing on a cedar spice note. Sensational! Looking forward to see how this opens up with a few hours in the decanter.

December 6, 2017 - Very nice super Tuscan. 90 min decant. Deep, dark, purplish maroon color. Leather, tobacco, cedar and raisin on the brooding nose. Dry, grippy, mouthfilling palate. Grippy tannins on the medium long finish. This would benefit from a 6-12 hour decant. Not yet fully open, but clearly well made.

November 11, 2017 - Wow, I am rating this 95 right now because this wine is at its absolute zenith right now...it's singing! Seriously this wine has a fluid transition between it's old world roots with lots
of Sangiovese character and roundness, depth and complexity with its Merlot / Cab components. We had this with veal agnolotti in a sage and brown butter sauce. Most fun and interesting bottle I have had in a long time. Worth the money if you can pull the trigger on this.

September 27, 2017 - Purchased at Strega in Boston. Opened up hot, went through a bit of a flat and thin phase, and finished the bottle over two hours and finally was beginning to open up.
