March 25, 2020 - Still a beautiful wine, though in a less impressive phase than the last few bottles tasted late 2015 through May 2017. The tannins have resolved and the wine is developing a lovely elegance. Suggest a couple more years to develop a bit more complexity. The improvement observed over 2 hours from opening indicates that the potential is there.

Two bottles opened, the first tainted by TCA.

March 9, 2020 - This bottle may have been flawed as it had a slight corked taste to it. Or, it may be getting past its prime, which makes me think I should drink up the other bottles soon. In any case, it was not as lovely and superb as the previous bottle. Some of the corked taste faded with air so the wine became drinkable, but it was still present.

February 8, 2020 - in general not a fan of the region, but this is not the usual valpolicella, it's more on the elegant side, very well done, initally thought it could have been sangiovese, but with time in the glass alchol builds up, nice complex, and possibly needs more time in the bottle

October 12, 2019 - Hmm. A bit hot on alcohol.
Needs to burn some fat. Would wait 1-2yrs and see. Otherwise needs decanting.
