March 5, 2021 - Very nice wine. Red fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), nice tannines, some violet. Need to drink more Brunello!

August 19, 2019 - Light to mid weight Brunello, a bit of fruit and a long, dry slightly tannic finish. Overall not very expressive and a touch too dry. Ok and pleasant to drink, but for it’s price of around 20€ not a recommendation.

January 10, 2019 - PnP. Color is garnet fading to purple-red with perhaps a thin strip of orange at the edge. Some funk in the aroma and savory notes on the palate. A bit of heat noticeable as well. Drinking with and after dinner. This is quite good.

December 5, 2017 - PnP and let sit for a couple of minutes to get some air. Drinking with and after dinner of herb-roasted turkey, green and yellow vegetables, some brown rice and pasta. Color is deeper purple in the center fading to purple-red at the edge. Medium legs. Aromas of ripe cherry, wet dirt and stone, flowers, menthol with just a little volatile blowoff. On the palate some candied cherry, ripe cherry, bright acidity, some tannin leaving a mouthwatering finish. Tannin does not have too much grip to it. The wine has some heat and a medium body. Notes of licorice entering in about an hour after opening. Wine has filled in some. Still pretty good. This seemed out of style for the Brunellos we have consumed with a greater presence of candied cherry notes and a leaner character over the 90 minutes or so that the wine was consumed this evening.
