December 16, 2022 - Gold, advanced color. Complex nose with mild oxidation , improves over 20 minutes in the glass. Beautiful with a Greek fisherman’s stew. Wonderful to have a Greek island wine with age remembering our visits to Santorini. Drink now

December 24, 2020 - Minerally, with notes of stone fruit. Medium high acid. Quite nice.

October 2, 2020 - Salty, weighty maybe floral. Not really typical but enjoyable.

January 6, 2019 - Food friendly and easy drinking. Nice fruit and a touch of minerals. Geeky.

September 3, 2018 - MNB: Greece! (Home (Noe st)): (non-blind)
Medium gold color - significant color (it's a 2013 - so some age).

Nose: medium plus intensity, notable wax (sort of a reductive style with dusty wax character). Squeaky green apple, yellow apple, ripe lemon.
    No overt oak, lees, botrytis.

Palate: Dry, medium body, medium plus alcohol (13.5% - correct), medium plus acid (persistent and tartaric). More oxidative on the palate.

    Similar to a dry vouvray.

    Laterals:
    - Vouvray sec - would have some RS probably
    - Furmint - would have higher acid

This is a lower-aroma, somewhat dead assyrtiko that's missing the phenolics of more classic examples.
