Not a light chianti. Has much more depth/weight.
Spice on the nose. Ginger/thistle/berries.
Tannin is prominent.
Starting to loose the fruit but gaining in depth.
Leather, cassis, earth, dry dry dry.
Better with food. Better after decanted a short time.
Great QPR, but not going to cellar it much longer. -

November 16, 2018 - Sweet cherry fruit. Balanced wine with a great nose. More juicy then bone dry for a Chianti. Excellent wine.
