February 17, 2019 - Distinct cherries on the nose, hint of underlying funk on opening,
    Funk blows off fairly quickly
Menthol note also on opening, and a little liquorice in there too
Light body, acid and fruit in balance
Blackberries and cherries showing nicely tonight
Finish persists a bit with roundness
Planning to drink remaining bottles this year would be reasonable

February 14, 2019 - Nice strawberries on the nose and palate
A little funk needs to blow off, faint aroma of tar
    Medium body
    Bright fruit, pleasant finish
Fine tannins and a bit of fermented cherry/dark roast coffee on the finish?
Not completely linear, evolves gradually in the glass
Recommend brief decant or leaving bottle open maybe half an hour

December 20, 2016 - My first JP Thévenet experience. For me, based on this bottling, this domaine is somewhere between Guy Breton and Foillard–all good!

Light, funky peppery nose with tart and sweet red raspberry and cherry fruit on the nose. Quite light on the palate, which I love about '13s, with the nose pretty accurately reflected. Slightly sweet, slightly tart finish with medium plus acid. This was a bit more tart on day 2, so I wouldn't be inclined to hold this, but it's so drinkable and delicious, it provides a welcome contrast to the meaty '15s.

October 20, 2016 - Delicious, vibrant Morgon, although perhaps without some of the complexity and exotic notes of the Foillard Cote du Py of the same vintage. Worth noting that by the third day this had pretty much fallen apart structurally and was showing some pretty pronounced yeasty character on the palate that wasn't there initially.

July 13, 2016 - Bright macerated red fruit and cherry liquor. Earthy, almost gravelly. Very tasty stuff. However, the remaining half bottle fell apart on day two.
