August 30, 2019 - Decanted this for about 45 minutes prior to serving and it really did well. The nose is very elegant for this price point. It has lots of dark brooding fruit, blackberries, blueberries, and a hint of leather. While I was pouring it into the decanter, I was surprised at how "watery" it looked.

The palate is medium bodied, tannins are nicely integrated, it is smooth and offers a decent finish. It is not trying to be any fancier or upstage itself - but this is a well made, good and easy drinking California Cabernet from a great vintage. Would definitely buy again. I would recommend drinking up because I don't see it getting any better.

August 6, 2019 - Way to cherry for me, too light, just didn't like it at all. Second bottle with similar score.

July 29, 2019 - Still in great shape. Rich, deep cab. Served with grilled sirloin topped with Gorgonzola. Lush

April 16, 2019 - Slow ox'ed for over an hour and poured through a vinturri. Dark purple-garnet in colour; nose of plum and strawberry jam with some dark minty cassis. There are elements of purple fruits with some black cherries and cassis with some touches of vanilla on the palate. Medium bodied with a short-medium finish that gets clipped right away. Good to drink now with some air time. Last tasted November 2015.

February 26, 2019 - This has integrated noticeably over three years. Raspberry on the nose; on the palate, black cherry, currants, and rich dark fruit and a note of leather on the medium finish, with light to moderate tannins and good acidity. As with most California Cabernet of this vintage, the fruit is prominent; those who like intensely fruited wines will enjoy this. This is an average to good value at about $45. The Cellartracker drinking window looks at least a few years too short.
